John and Mary's wedding was the first wedding I shot professionally so it was pretty incredible to be shooting them as a family years later. Woke up to golfball size rain drops and despite my better judgement, we proceeded with the shoot. The whole “It’s always nicer out the road.” did not apply that day. I ended up having to call it a little early because it was getting too bad. Camera was drenched, lens was blurred from the rain, poor children were freezing. Bad call on my part, but come summer time we’re going to do a do-over.
